COVID-19

On Thursday 25th June we had a full Committee Meeting and as promised, are updating all our our membership on the current situation at our Club. As of 24th June, under Government and England Squash guidance, we are unable to exercise in any indoor sports facilities.There is no indication yet of a date when this will be lifted or even relaxed. Shaw Lane remains closed too at present.

We know how frustrating it is and like you would love to be back, but we must follow this advice for the safety of all our members. The whole Committee, all of whom were at the meeting, endorse this standpoint. In the meantime, we are able to do some essential work on the complex - plans to update the light payment system, court cleaning and carpeting are all planned in soon. With an eye on reopening, we will also be implementing some additional safety/hygiene measures in a variety of ways for your benefit. More of this will be communicated once we have a clear pathway for the restart.

Once again thank you for your patience and understanding. We hope you are staying safe and well and look forward to resumption in due course..
