Dear Members,
We would like to highlight the club's involvement in raising funds for very deserving causes during 2023.
In May, on the evening of the Squash tournament finals, money was raised for BIADS (Barnsley Independent Azlheimers and Dementia Support). A very successful charity auction was held by Trez.
BIADS helped the much missed Malcolm Harrison, during his illness.
In October, Mick "Frazer" Hine(s) abseiled down Wakefield Cathedral in aid of Andy's Man Club, the men's suicide prevention charity.
Frazer raised over £800, three times more than his original target. The club set up a simple way to contribute using the online system and then matched members' contributions with its own contribution.
These money raising activities were excellent and generous work by the club and its members.
