Covid-19 Update

Dear member
We trust our plan to get squash and racketball back at your club is proving satisfactory for you. We appreciate it isn’t perfect but it is in line with England Squash and in the Committee’s opinion, the safest way forward at this time. We set out certain rules at the time which we insisted were adhered to, for everyone’s wellbeing. Quite simply, if they are not adhered to we will be forced to close again.

It has been brought to our attention that a small minority of members are breaching our rules, which will prejudice it for the majority. We already know of people who have. We can and will apply suspensions if it doesn’t stop. Why spoil it for the members who are playing according to the new rules? The committee members will be checking the courts to check that the rules are being adhered to.

If you see anyone breaking the rules, please either report it by replying to this email or to a Committee member. This will be treated in strictest confidence of course.
Let’s use these gradual steps forward sensibly and safely and then we may be able to get back to normal. Thank you for your compliance.

Ian Meade - Chairman
On behalf of the BS&R Committee
