Dear Un-paid Member,

If you have already renewed please ignore this email

The Squash and Racketball club and Shaw Lane can give some good news.

On Monday 12th April the squash courts will re-open and the bar will be open in the evening and at weekends to serve in outdoor areas.

SquashEngland confirmed that squash can start again on April 12th for solo practice, same household games, junior coaching and one to one adult coaching.

Further steps are expected in May and June, which will allow a more general and relaxed use of the club.

The club will open three courts. They will be used at every other time slot, to prevent crossover and allow cleaning, but this is further step on the path back to normality. There are still Covid controls in place, which are detailed in the attachment.

On the 12th April at 4:30 the upper and lower outdoor terrace facing on to the cricket field at the front of the club will be open for drinks, service will be available at table only there will be enough bar and waiting staff to be able to cope with the expected demand.

If you would like to take advantage of this good news and wish to re-new your membership, please contact Shane via darleycliffe@aol.com .

When you re-new, please provide your postal address, as new Privilege Cards, issued by Shaw Lane, are being posted to members. These cards provide discount at the bar and further future benefits, which will be publicised by Shaw Lane.

Please send your address to nigelgodwin1@me.com

We look forward to seeing many of you re-joining the club.

Along with those, who maintained membership, your membership will continue to keep the club strong.

Stay safe.
